Happy Easter!

Well Miss Edie certainly had a good time this Easter Weekend! On Saturday, MJ & Grandpa took us to the Easter Egg hunt at the Boat Club. It started raining just before the hunt, so it had to be moved indoors but it was still lots of fun. Most of the kids were bigger, but Edie caught on to finding eggs and putting them in her basket pretty quickly - and even ended up with a nice, fairly full basket of candy. She had a great time, except for when the Easter Bunny was in sight. I'd say her reaction to the Easter Bunny was about like her reaction to Santa, if not worse. She clung on to me for dear life, and screamed a scream of fright at the top of her lungs. To her credit, the Easter bunny was freakishly tall...
Afterwards, she came home and dyed Easter eggs.

Easter Sunday was a beautiful day! The Easter Bunny brought Edie some great prizes including a little table & chair, and some accessories for Baby. She was super excited about the baby carrier, bottle, and diaper changing set and took very good care of baby all morning. Sadie even got into the Easter Spirit!

We went to Mass at St. Martin's downtown, since our church is still undergoing restorations. I had never been there before. It is a gorgeous old church and they really had a beautiful service. We enjoyed the rest of the day at MJ's house, where she had the entire Todd family for Easter lunch. Edie and her cousin Katherine had another egg hunt in the back yard. She had a great time playing outside and by the end of the day she was completely wiped out!
