Wild, Wonderful West Virginia weekend

We recently went to visit our good friends Bonner & Sarah, and their daughter Eloise. Eloise is about 6 months older than Edie, so they had a great time together!. It was interesting to see them both in the environment of not being the only child for an extended time longer than just parents' day out. There were a few sharing issues on both of their parts, but all in all they got along wonderfully...and so did the dogs!

This is the slide at their country club. Edie wanted to go down. I wasn't sure she was big enough for that but Sarah suggested I walk her up it anyway. She said Eloise did that, but once she got up there and saw how high it was she changed her mind. So I walked Edie up there, and of course Miss No Fear hopped straight in the slide and went down. Thankfully, Sarah jumped in the pool in time to catch her at the bottom when she came out! That's a pretty big slide for a not-yet 2 year old!

I know she doesn't really need the frog vest at the baby pool. She likes to wear it though, and it gives me a little reassurance because when she gets the chance she runs straight for the big pool. Again, no fear!
